Am 22. Juli 2016 fand die zweite Black Lives Matter Demonstration in Berlin statt. Vom U-Bahnhof Mohrenstraße in Mitte zog die Demonstration mit fast 1000 Menschen laut und kraftvoll bis zum Hermannplatz in Neukölln. Thematisiert wurde Rassismus, diskriminierende Ausländergesetzgebung und Racial Profiling sowie alle damit verbundenen Folgen für Schwarze Menschen, People of Color und vor allem für Geflüchtete.

Müssen uns auf Terror vorbereiten als wörtliches Zitat von Verteidigungsminister Hans Peter Doskozil ist die Titelschlagzeile der Kronen Zeitung. Im Blattinneren wird berichtet, dass die Kompetenzen zwischen Polizei und Heer neu geregelt werden sollen, wenn es nach Doskozil geht. Ironischer Weise war er letztes Jahr noch Polizeichef im Burgenland, wo er unkontrollierter Masseneinwanderung nichts entgegen setzen durfte.
